Romanian Defense Ministry does not confirm information about a Russian missile over its territory

The Ministry of Defense of Romania does not confirm the information about the flight of a Russian missile over the territory of the country.

This is reported by the Romanian edition of Radio Liberty, writes European Truth .

“Information about a Russian missile that flew over the airspace of Romania is not confirmed,” the ministry said in response to a request from the publication.

The department said it would provide updates at a later date.

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that two Russian Caliber cruise missiles crossed the border of Ukraine with Moldova and also  flew into Romanian airspace .

The Ministry of Defense of Moldova later  confirmed  the violation of Moldovan airspace at 10:18. The rocket flew over the village of Mokra (in the Rybnitsa region, Transnistria), and then over Kosautsy (in the Soroca region).

As reported, during a rocket attack in January, rocket fragments  fell on the territory of Moldova for the third time .

It should be noted that Moldova wants to criminalize missile attacks on Ukraine, during which Russian missiles also cross Moldovan airspace. The very fact of a missile flying should be punished by prison for a term of 3 to 12 years, and if a missile injured or killed a person, then the punishment increases to 10-20 years.
