MOSCOW, RIA Novosti. In the Kherson region, servicemen repelled the landing of Ukrainian saboteurs on the left bank of the Dnieper, the Ministry of Defense reported.According to the agency, scouts using a drone discovered a group that was trying to approach the left bank of 

the Dnieper by boat , which is defended by units of Russian paratroopers and motorized riflemen.”By means of communication, the coordinates of the place of their possible landing were transferred to the command post of the battalion. The personnel immediately took up their prepared firing positions and destroyed the DRG approaching the shore with small arms fire,” the ministry said.

As specified, in order to prevent the enemy from approaching the water’s edge, the Russian military regularly fires at the opposite bank with small arms.
