In Ukraine, they reported damage to energy infrastructure as a result of attacks by the Russian army. This was reported in the national energy company of Ukraine “Ukrenergo”.
“At night, the Russians attacked the energy infrastructure with drones and missiles, directing them to power plants and transmission system facilities,” Ukrenergo said in a statement. The damage resulted in power outages in the eastern, western and southern parts of the country.
Shelling was recorded throughout Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Kharkiv, Odessa, Krivoy Rog, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
