Tinubu Heads to Equatorial Guinea for High-Level Talks

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea. The visit, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, will focus on strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of oil, gas, and security.

Upon arrival in Malabo, Tinubu will hold meetings with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa. The discussions are expected to culminate in the signing of significant agreements that aim to boost cooperation between the two nations.

Joining President Tinubu on the trip are Foreign Affairs Minister Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar and other key members of his cabinet. The delegation will be involved in negotiations and the formalization of new opportunities to enhance the relationship between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
